Privacy Policy

• When you buy a report: your name, email address and business details (name, address, website), plus any answers you give us during intake. Stripe collects your payment details, and we never see or store your full card number.
• When you sign in: your email address and the details our sign-in provider needs.
• For outreach: business email addresses that restaurants and shops post publicly on their own websites, plus public details about the business, such as its name and address.
• From public sources: we load the business's public web pages, take screenshots of them for the report, and look up its listing on Google Places.
• Unsubscribes: if you unsubscribe, we keep your email address on a do-not-email list so we never write to you again.

We use it to build your report and its second run and deliver them, to email you, to let you sign in, to handle payments and support, and to send occasional emails about TableWatch to businesses. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and we honor it.

To build a report, we send questions about a business and its area, along with business details such as its name, address and website, to OpenAI and Google. We also send OpenAI text from the business's public web pages, which can include names of staff listed there. To sort outreach leads, we send TypeSafe public business contact details: the business's name, website, address and the email it posts publicly. We never send buyers' names, buyers' email addresses or payment details to OpenAI, Google or TypeSafe.

These services keep what we send them for a limited time to run and protect their services. That's about 30 days at OpenAI and Google, sometimes a little longer for abuse monitoring, and TypeSafe keeps it as long as it needs to provide its service.

Each one handles the data to provide its service to us. We don't sell your personal information.

Our sign-in provider, Clerk, sets cookies to keep you logged in. We don't use analytics or advertising trackers.

Some TableWatch pages show what ChatGPT and Gemini said about a business, and anyone with the link can open them without logging in. A business can ask us to correct or remove its page. Your paid report isn't listed anywhere public, but anyone who has its link, or the link to its PDF, can open it, so share those links with care.

We keep reports, lead records and order details for one year after the last activity on them, then delete them. Payment and tax records are kept as long as the law requires, and card details stay with Stripe, never with us. We keep the do-not-email list indefinitely, because otherwise we couldn't honor unsubscribes. You can ask us to delete your information sooner by emailing jason@tablewatch.site.

Email jason@tablewatch.site to see, correct or delete your information, or with any question about this policy. California residents have these rights under state law, and we won't treat you differently for using them. We may need to keep some records, such as payment records or the do-not-email list, when the law requires it or so we can honor an unsubscribe.

TableWatch is for businesses and adults 18 and older. It isn't meant for children.

If we update this page, we'll change the date at the top.
